Winter Online Course 2026 – Gallipoli

Our annual online course will kick off in January 2026 and take place every Sunday for six weeks. Last year, we focused on the Italian Front and this year, we’ve decided to stick with this kind of focus and are offering you an in-depth look at the doomed Gallipoli campaign.    Lectures will begin at 7pm UK time each week. For those on the course who cannot make any sessions, a recording will be available.   18th January : Dr. Andy Lock Political antecedents and the naval campaign   25th January : Alex Churchill The Landings   1st February : Peter Hart Third Battle of Krithia   8th February : Peter Hart August and the end of the campaign   15th February : Warren Smith Evacuation   22nd February : Wendy Maddocks  Anzac: The wider impact & popular memory   Scholarship places are available for those in full time education or suffering financial hardship.
