FRIDAY 8TH - MONDAY 11TH MAY 2026   We’ve made you wait for this one, but 2026 sees the 110th anniversary of this seminal First World War battle and so we’re stretching it a day longer, pushing the boat out, and taking you on an introductory tour of Verdun.    Early bird packages are now on sale. You can bag your place with a £200 deposit at    Package includes:    * Three nights accomodation with breakfast included * Two full days coach tour on the battlefield with packed lunch * additional self-drive, guided stops on Monday including 1914 content (you'll be able to opt to follow just in the morning, or all day) * two group dinners *    If you do not secure one of these packages DON’T WORRY! More places will be available soon. We’re just finalising costs and will have a total price soon. We will release this as soon as, via a news bulletin.   Regarding journeys to Verdun, we will endeavour to help as much as we can re car-pooling etc. Judith will be in touch when she receives a sales notification with your name on it.

Our online conference is back! The Battle of Aubers Ridge Matt Dixon is a battlefield historian, podcaster and writer and has been visiting the cemeteries and memorials of the Great War for almost 40 years. His particular interest are the 1915 battles of Artois. In this talk Matt looks at the events of that day and aims to discover what went quite so wrong.
